Born and educated in Canada, Steven's acting work has taken him across Canada and throughout the UK where he has appeared in plays, musicals, opera, television, film, industrials, cabaret and in concerts.

 Living in London since 2002, UK credits include three sell-out No. 1 UK Tours of Scrooge (Bill Kenwright Productions) with Michael Barrymore, Shane Richie and Tommy Steele. He also enjoyed a successful tour of Doctor Dolittle (Bill Kenwright Productions) where he played the Constable and understudied Tommy Steele in the title role. 

2010 saw the release of Steven's debut album It Takes Two: Stephen Sondheim Duets with musical supervisor and pianist Stuart Pedlar. The album is available at Dress Circle.

A veteran of touring, Steven has been across the UK with Stopwatch Theatre Company in Drive Time and with Image Musical Theatre in The Happy Prince. He also sailed the Mediterranean as Principal Singer on Costa Cruiseline's Magica ship.

Recent film work includes the feature film, Mesocafé (in post production), in which he plays the American ambassador in London at the outbreak of the Iraq war. He has also stretched his film acting chops in several recent short films.

He appears frequently in various London cabaret venues and is active in new play readings at the Soho Theatre and Bridewell Theatre.

North American credits include appearances with Stage West Calgary, Mayfair Theatre, Edmonton Opera, UBC Opera, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Mile Zero Dance and The CBC.   

Steven proudly holds both British and Canadian citizenship. He has a BFA in Drama/Music from Concordia University, a Diploma in Theatre Performance from Grant MacEwan University and an MA in Creative Entrepreneurship from the University of East Anglia.

He is active as a journalist and his work has appeared both in print and online in newspapers, magazines and websites around the world. In addition, Steven has taught at the London College of Music/University of West London, the Actors Centre and the University of British Columbia.
